The hunting policy can be found under the "regulations" tab of the home page. Please review them before hunting this season!

Canada Goose hunting clarification: The installation falls into the Atlantic Population Zone seasons and bag limits.

Minimum Weight Limit on Deer Harvests: Harvesting deer that weigh less than 60 pounds (live weight) is not permitted on post.

STAND UPDATE: 18A and 18C in TA-11 are ARCHERY ONLY due to contstruction acitivity.  

Important Dates:​

• Dove Season (1st segment): Sep 1st - Oct 19th (check hunting hours on VA DWR website)
• Deer Season
  • Archery Season: Oct 4th - Jan 3rd
• Tureky Season 
  • Archery Season: Oct 4th - Nov 14th
  • Firearm Season: Oct 18th - 31st
• Waterfowl Season
  • Youth and Veterans Day: Oct 25th

Check in/out Times                                     

•      Reservations can be made from 1500 (3 pm) to midnight the day preceding the hunting day. 
•      Check out times for ALL hunting areas and all seasons will be no later than 2100 (9 pm).
•      **Anyone not checked out by the required time will have a Hold placed on their account.*
